Coming from the North and West via the Green Serpent Bridge is easy now. Bike parking is available around The District Docklands.


By Bus

Catch Metropolitan buses 220, 232, 235, or 237, which operate routes that go to The District Docklands.

Most venues at The District Docklands accept cash. Parking however does not accept cash. Marvel Stadium is fully cashless — bring a debit or credit card for all purchases.

No, The District Docklands has plenty of parking available – secure and undercover. There is not an option to book ahead.

Plenty of Parent with Pram car parking, however prams and strollers are prohibited inside Marvel Stadium, check their Conditions of Entry.  More reasons to either stay at one of our hotels or park at The District, as you can leave in your hotel room or your vehicle.

Marvel Stadium is home to five AFL clubs: Essendon, Carlton, North Melbourne, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs.

Yes. Patrons are permitted to bring their own food and beverages into Marvel Stadium. Drinks must be non-alcoholic, and glass containers are not allowed.

Route 86 runs up La Trobe Street for easy access to Gate 5. Route 70 is not recommended for people who require wheel chair access as you will have to walk up steps.

At The District Docklands

The District Docklands is fully accessible, featuring step-free routes, accessible parking spaces, elevators to all levels, and accessible facilities throughout the precinct. Wide pathways and open-air laneways make it easy to move between shops, restaurants and attractions. Most venues, including Urban Alley Brewery, Imaginator, and Archie Brothers, offer accessible entry. Accessible parking is available in both the East and West Car Parks, with clear signage and direct lift access to the main precinct.

At Marvel Stadium

Marvel Stadium is one of Melbourne’s most accessible major venues. Accessible seating can be purchased directly via Ticketmaster, with additional assistance available through Guest Services at Gates 1 and 5. Wheelchair services are offered on event days, and lifts provide access to all levels, including the arena floor. The stadium also features sensory rooms, quiet spaces, and accessible restrooms, ensuring a comfortable experience for all guests.

For patrons with sensory sensitivities, Marvel Stadium provides sensory bags, a Chill Hub on Level 2 (Aisle 25), and dedicated sensory rooms at Level 1 (Aisle 3) and Level 3 (Aisle 31). Assistance animals are welcome throughout the venue, and accessible drop-off zones are available nearby.
