Magnet Galleries presents Whispers Woven in Water, Wings and Wildflowers Part II

This exhibition and book launch is part of a bigger exhibition which was originally set within a dreamlike garden earlier this year. Visual Storyteller, Pam Davison explored photography beyond the frame in collaborating with couture designer, Linda Britten who transformed Davison’s still images into sculptural garments.

With the use of sound and visual material, this exhibition encourages you to consider how memory is formed, distorted, preserved and worn. Each photograph plants a powerful seed; each breath-taking gown brings the magic to life.

Whispers Woven in Water, Wings and Wildflowers is more than an exhibition, it is a storybook of memories. Davison has now collaborated with Jacqui-Maree Bailey to express the story through another artistic medium of illustration.

Through Davison’s vision and each avenue of collaborative inspiration, memorable moments and artistic endeavours have weaved together to form a unique thread of imagination and expression.
